How to wire money with Chase Bank?

To wire money online with Chase, log into your Chase account online. Non-Chase customers can enroll using the link on their banking website.

After logging in, verify your identity by requesting an Activation Code, which takes a few minutes.

Once confirmed, go to the Pay and Transfer tab, select the Wire money link from the dropdown options, and securely wire money online.

Here’s our step-by-step guide:

  1. Add recipient's information: Enter the recipient's name, address, country, and a nickname (for future use) by clicking on "Add a wire recipient." You can also include a custom message.

  2. Fill recipient's bank details: Provide the recipient's bank routing number (ABA) for domestic transfers or International Bank Account Number (IBAN) for international transfers. Use the ABA/SWIFT Lookup Guide provided by Chase if needed. For transfers to a Chase account, find the Chase routing number.

  3. Enter additional banking details: Verify the recipient's transfer information and provide the receiving bank's mailing address and account number. You can also leave a custom message for the bank.

  4. Verify wire transfer information: Double-check all the details and numbers for accuracy. Use the "Change" button to make any necessary corrections. Once verified, you're ready to process the international wire transfer.
